Opimian is currently looking to fulfill the following position:

1. Front Desk Receptionist

Opimian Wine Club–Canada’s largest wine club–is looking for a Bilingual (English-French) receptionist. With a 35-hour per week schedule, you will be required to be at the office from 9 am–5 pm from Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Marketing Project Manager, you will be responsible to welcome guests, setting up the tasting room, ordering office supplies, receiving and shipping different packages, and performing clerical and administrative tasks as assigned to the different employees.

We seek an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, autonomous, positive, and with a great team spirit.

Computer literacy is a must. We use a whole range of applications including Microsoft Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, Teams, Outlook). The majority of your work will be in English, but a good knowledge of French is also needed.

Responsibilities

Here is what you will be doing in a nutshell.

  • Greet people at arriving at offices
  • Answer the phone and direct the calls
  • Receiving and shipping packages
  • Set up in-office tasting
  • Order office supplies
  • Picking up mails and placing the orders
  • Perform any clerical and administrative task as assigned by the staff

Qualifications

  • Bilingual, English and French
  • Administrative assistant training
  • Knowledge of various Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Good organizational skills
  • Reliability is essential, teamwork above all
  • Ability to multi-task with great attention to detail.

2. Logistics and Supplier Relations Coordinator

Opimian Wine Club–Canada’s largest wine club–is looking for a Logistics and Supplier Relations Coordinator* to provide excellent service to our provincial liquor boards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule lab test cases to prevent member distribution
  • Coordinate traces with the various provincial distribution partners
  • Manage Member’s orders
  • Verify inventory details by comparing PO (Purchase Orders) and reports
  • Troubleshoot board discrepancies
  • Build relationships with club members, liquor boards and stores
  • Proof supplier back labels and bar codes
  • Generate Distribution list and work with liquor boards to ensure releases are executed on time
  • Work with direct delivery company to ensure members shipments are processed and delivered
  • Responds promptly to inbound email inquiries and requests or complaints from wine club members
  • Evaluation distribution points
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
  • Experience in the beverage alcohol industry is an asset
  • Excellent analytics, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Zendesk Customer Service Software knowledge is preferred
  • Computer literacy is necessary, as is a professional phone manner
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and with a variable workload
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Commerce, Supply Chain is preferred
  • Proficient in French is an asset
