1. Member Service Advisor / Conseiller Services aux Membres

Opimian Wine Club – Canada’s largest wine club – is looking for a Member Service Advisor to provide excellent Member service to our 10,000 Members nationwide. Working remotely from your home office, you will respond to telephone and email enquiries from Members.

At Opimian, we hire for attitude and train for skill. We seek an individual who gets energized by providing a gold standard Member Experience and steps up to any challenge. At least two years of Customer/Member Service will serve you well in this position. Wine knowledge is preferable. A love of wine is essential. Opimian uses Zendesk Customer Service Software so experience with it would be a bonus. Computer literacy is a must, as is a professional phone manner. A percentage of our Membership is French-speaking so bilingualism would be a huge plus but, without exception, English proficiency, both written and oral will lead to your success in this role.

Chez Opimian, nous embauchons pour l’attitude et formons pour les compétences. Nous recherchons une personne qui est stimulée par le fait d’offrir une expérience de qualité aux membres et qui relève tous les défis. Au moins deux ans d’expérience dans le domaine du service clients et membres  vous seront utiles pour ce poste. Une connaissance du vin est préférable. Un amour pour le vin est essentiel. Opimian utilise le logiciel de service à la clientèle Zendesk; une expérience avec ce logiciel serait donc un atout. Des connaissances en informatique sont indispensables, de même qu’une attitude professionnelle au téléphone. La maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, tant à l’écrit qu’à l’oral, vous permettra de réussir dans cette fonction.

2. Marketing Assistant

Opimian Wine Club – Canada’s largest wine club – is looking for a Bilingual (English-French) Marketing Assistant to support the marketing team in the execution and implementation of many varied projects. With a hybrid working model (work from home + occasional in-office meetings), you will be reporting to the Marketing Project Manager.


Your role is to support the small marketing team. We seek an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, autonomous, positive, and with a great team spirit. If you can juggle several projects and priorities at the same time, it’s a plus!


Computer literacy is a must. We use a whole range of applications including Microsoft Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, Teams, Outlook), Basecamp and Airtable. The majority of your work will be English but a working knowledge of French is also needed.


Responsibilities for Marketing Assistant

Here is what you will be doing in a nutshell.

  • Receive, record, and update the marketing material from wine partners to the different platforms.
  • Organize and upload photos and videos on the different platforms.
  • Draft video instructions for the video editor on the Upwork platform.
  • Receive and review the work done by the video editor.
  • Update sales tracking reports.
  • Upload photos and links to the website (WordPress).
  • Test and proofread the weekly newsletter and other mass communications.
  • Proofread and approve the final posts for all social media posts (Facebook, and Instagram).
  • Post on LinkedIn.
  • Receive and count the inventory of the magazines and send the Cellar magazines to the Members.
  • Perform any tasks to support the marketing team.



Qualifications for Marketing Assistant
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn)
  • Have a joyful and positive attitude.
  • Be flexible and agile.
  • Ability to multitask and take initiative
  • Ability to be autonomous and learn fast
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and a working knowledge of French is needed
