La Jasse’s tree has seen three families and their friends play in the shade of its foliage for more than 20 years. This majestic plane tree is now 100 years old, and Bruno Le Breton’s family enjoys Domaine de la Jasse wines harvest after harvest. Since 2013, Domaine de la Jasse is certified High Environmental Value in regard of our practices in the vineyard. The four key areas concerned are: biodiversity conservation, plant protection strategy, managed fertiliser use, and water resource management. We are proud to welcome every year migratory birds who come back after their long travel to nest in La Jasse vines. Letting the grass bloom between the vines is not only beautiful, it also keeps the biodiversity alive both over and underground. This balance we managed to create makes us dream of a better world, where agriculture promotes the biodiversity thanks to agroforestry methods. By the time the grapes make it to the cellar, we measure every step to lower their social, environmental and economical impact. Each bottle of Domaine de la Jasse is hand made in the most sustainable way. From the choice of the bottle, the cork, but also the box and overall the people we work with. Our stakeholders are chosen for their know how and expertise, but also their will to make a better world and wine with us.
