Domaine des Remizières
Domaine des Remizières has been a family estate for several generations.
At first, the estate had 4 hectares of wines and part of the harvest was delivered to a wine cooperative. Starting in 1973, vinification took place exclusively st the estate.
Alphonse is the first to run the business. His son Philippe took over in 1977 and decided to market the bottled wines. In 2005, Emilie, with her newly acquired diploma in oenology, joined her father. In 2009 her brother Christophe also joins the company with a diploma in viticulture.
The estate produces red and white Crozes Hermitage and red St-Joseph, as well as some Vin de Pays / IGP wines.
The vineyards are spread out over several villages: Mercurol, Crozes-Hermitage, Tain l'Hermitage, Larnage, La Roche de Glun, as well as Saint Jean de Muzols and Vion for St Joseph.
