Château Saint-Bénézet

Located in the south of France, between the historical city of Nîmes and the Mediterranean Sea, Château Saint-Bénézet is at southern tip of the Rhône Valley. Led by Yann Soulairac and Elise Bosse-Platière, a new talented generation of winemakers, the estate has 150 ha, sustainably farmed with the “Terra Vitis” certification. We produce wines in AOP Costières de Nîmes, with Rhône varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and Marsellan for reds and rosés and Roussane, Marsanne, Vermentino and Viognier for white wines. Our terroir consists of a large terrasse of rolled pebbles, called “Gress”. The pebbles render the sun’s heat overnight. This heat is mitigated by the maritime gateways from the sea and the Petite Camargue. This Mediterranean climate is a great asset to produce authentic wines.
