Château d'Escurac
Over time, the personalities of the various owners of Château d'Escurac have shaped this beautiful estate, located on one of the highest ridges in the Médoc.
Its very pretty 11th century chapel bears witness to an early seigneurial, rural and ecclesiastical life which marked the place forever. The Landureau family fell in love and acquired the property in 1934.
Jean the grandfather, a great horse lover transforms the property into a stud farm and devotes himself to his passion. His son Jean-Michel, diversified the activities of the estate, developing the culture of the vine and bringing his grapes to the Cooperative Cellar .
It was finally Jean-Marc Landureau, his grandson who, from the first harvest of his childhood, decided to devote his life to extracting the best from this beautiful terroir.
In August 2017, Jean-Marc Landureau suddenly passed away and the property was taken over by his daughter, Anne, a student in veterinary medicine. She is helped by the experienced team at Château d´Escurac as well as her mother, Merete Løwig Larsen.
