Château Ripeau, a Grand Cru Classé estate, has 16 hectares of vines in one plot. The vines sit close to the border with Pomerol and the vineyards of Château Cheval Blanc, one of the four First Grand Cru Classé A
(which recently announced its intention to withdraw from the 2022 classification).
