Domaine Christophe Pichon at Chavanay in the northern Rhône has 23 hectares of vines across prestigious Appellations in-cluding Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu. His Sym-phonie Côte du Rhône is a full-bodied wine with restrained grassy and incense aromas complemented by green herbs and almond blossom. It is structured with good mid-pal-ate fruits, red and bitter cherry flavours and vanilla which remain on the palate. Grapes were picked by hand with the wine ma-tured in barrel for 10 months.
