This is an intensely aromatic Sauvignon with aromas of elderflower, grass, fresh lime and some green chillies. It has good mid-palate weight with sour lime and zesty green apples to finish. The cool nights of the high altitude Kirchenstück site are conducive to full flavour development in the Sauvignon grapes. It was fermented with specially selected yeast then kept “sur lie” until bottling.
