Montblanc 362 Syrah/Samsó DO Conca de Barbera, 2018
Conca Barbera
Producer
Grape Variety
Samsó
A wine with mellow vanilla and opulent dark fruit aromas, cream and cherry menthol. It is medium bodied with quite a light mid palate and linear structure. More woody flavours emerge in the mouth leading to a grippy finish. Samsó – the local name for Carignan – and Syrah are cultivated on black slate and quartz soils known as “Llicorella” (similar to those found in the Priorato region) to produce just one kilogram of grapes for each vine.
