Brachetto Lungo del Roero
Grappa is Italy’s national spirit produced in regions around Italy from local grapes. It is crystal clear with fruity aromas. Produced from the Brachetto skins used to produce Birbet (see Lot 2874), it has a sweet impression on the palate with blueberry and parma violet flavours. After pressing, the grape skins – known as pomace – were transported in airtight containers to the local Fratelli Marolo distillery some 10 kilometres away.
