Maddie Lane Vineyards Chardonnay Lodi, 2018
Cal Lodi
Grape Variety
Chardonnay
This range of wines was named after John and Gail Kautz’s granddaughter Maddie, who represents the fourth generation of the Lodi based family. The Chardonnay was produced from a special selection of grapes grown in the Mokelumne River sub-AVA on the west side of the Lodi region. More expressive than the Stone Valley, it has intense aromas of melons, pears and other white fruits. It is smooth with good depth and just a hint of vanilla oak.
