Mellow ripe fruit aromas of mulberries and cooked cherries lead to a concentrated palate. This is a medium to full bodied Crianza matured in oak for 14 months using 80% American and 20% French oak barrels. Tempranillo was blended with 5% Graciano and 5% Garnacha from 40 years old vines cultivated at 500 metres in altitude. Some sour fruit flavours emerge on the palate with a firm acidity which will soften with some cellaring before it reaches it optimum for drinking.
