Great value for money – a pungently aromatic white with gooseberry and grapefruit flavours. It is flavoursome, easy drinking and relatively low in alcohol at 11.5%, with just a touch of sweetness to offset the zesty acidity. Ugni Blanc and Colombard were cultivated in the south-west of France. After a short skin contact, the juice was fermented at low temperature then aged on lees in tank.
