Jacquère is the most planted vine in Savoie covering half of the region’s vineyards. The highest quality wine is made from the 8-hectare cru of Jongieux. The 2021 Earl Million Rousseau Jacquère Cru Jongieux is a light-bodied wine with a dramatic bouquet of lime, lemon, melon, grass and herb. A note of ripe honeydew melon takes center stage on the palate where the impressions of citrus blossom and fresh herb support. Try as an alternative to New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc paired with pan-seared Tilapia and steamed asparagus. 43 barrels produced. 2023-2024 – LW
