Intense and hugely concentrated, I just love this wine. Developing nicely, is has a mellow bouquet with cooked fruits, patisserie and some mint with savoury oak notes in the background. In the mouth, it is concentrated with lots of oak and savoury fruit. It has a grainy texture with dark fruits, spice and lasting bitter cherries on the finish. 80% of the wine was matured using oak staves, and the balance spent 11 months in French oak barrels.
