A savory, Burgundian-style Chardonnay made from 30 plus-year-old vines in the Côtes du Jura. A swirl releases a harmony of elegant apple, floral, lees and bread aromas. The palate escalates in intensity with notes of apple peel, white peach and nectarine offset by the essence of nutmeg, cinnamon and clove. The judicious oak influence was achieved by maturing half of the wine in stainless steel and half in barrel (20% new) for one year. Generous complexity and a notably long length set this wine apart. 2023-2026 – LW
