Grillo, coming from around Trapani in the west of the island famed for the production of Sicily’s fortified Marsala wine, was hand-picked in late September and cool fermented. Yeasty doughy notes are complemented with nice ripe fruit aromas and a touch of lime. It has some nice weight on the palate leading to a deliciously crisp finish with flavours of lemon and grapefruit.
