Oaky clove aromas dominate red cherry and jammy fruits on the nose. It is smooth with sweet fruits mid palate leading to some dry tannins. Primitivo grapes were cultivated around Sava, on traditional low untrellised bush vines known as “Alberello basso.” The wine was part aged in French and American oak for 12 months.

Oaky clove aromas dominate red cherry and jammy fruits on the nose. It is smooth with sweet fruits mid palate leading to some dry tannins.
