Aligoté from the limestone-rich vineyards in Yonne Valley. A pale yellow hue. It leads with the pleasant aromas of poached yellow plum, wet chalk, clean lees and fresh dough. It shows a low but adequate acidity; it’s dry, soft textured with medium body, medium-plus length and fruit intensity. It’s simple, pleasant with the yellow plum, mineral element, nuts and lees to medium finish. Drink now.–IR
