In 2016, Stefano Girelli, one of the founders of The Wine People, discovered a small family estate in Sicily, Azienda Agricola Cortese, where organic grapes had been grown for generations. Even though the limited size, soil conditions and microclimate were completely different from what they knew, Stefano and his team found an incredible natural selection of clones. Stefano's motto, 'Respect in the vineyard, courage in the winery', is what drives him.
Last December, you met the Chiocciolis. Now meet the 'other' Stefano behind The Wine People during a live Zoom chat where he will talk about his wines, his philosophy and his passion.
En 2016, Stefano Girelli, un des fondateurs de The Wine People, a déniché un petit domaine familial en Sicile, Azienda Agricola Cortese, cultivant des raisins biologiques depuis des générations. Bien que la taille restreinte, les conditions du sol et le microclimat leur soient complètement nouveaux, Stefano et son équipe y ont trouvé une sélection de clones extraordinaires. La devise de Stefano, "Respect dans le vignoble, courage dans la cave", le motive jour après jour.
