Tour de France

For the last event of our three-part series, we will go on a Tour de France, where we will learn about regional cuisine and the unique wines that pair with the delicious menu prepared for us by Chefs Thierry Meret and Marnie Fudge.

Join us at Cuisine et Château’s at state-of-the-art Interactive Culinary Centre for a demonstration cooking class, where we will explore the various regions of France!

Born in Orléans, in the Loire Valley of France, Thierry attended cooking school in Paris, where he stayed for several years to hone his skills in Michelin-starred restaurants. When he moved to Calgary he became the executive chef of La Chaumière and then opened his own restaurant La P’tite Table in Okotoks, before starting Cuisine et Château in 2010.

His partner Marnie, has worked in Paris at the famous Hôtel Lutetia, done a stage at a French boulangerie, and developed her skills as a pastry chef at some of Calgary’s best restaurants and hotels. She shares her most precious gift, her understanding and love of classic desserts and bread baking at Cuisine et Château.
