Opimian is hosting a virtual Talk & Taste event with Carole Doyard of Champagne Doyard-Mahé on Saturday, March 20 at 3 pm EST.
Discover the joy of bubbles with the delightful Carole and learn more about the Champagne region, its sparkling wines, and the rare Ratafia!
Carole is a 4th-generation winemaker in Champagne. Her own grandfather Maurice Doyard co-founded the Comité Interprofessionnel du Vin de Champagne (CIVC), one of the first-ever regional wine committees created in France. She joined the family business in 2005 while studying viticulture. Carole is now in charge of the vines, the wines and exports.

Carole est vigneronne de quatrième génération en Champagne. Son grand-père, Maurice Doyard, a lui-même co-fondé le Comité Interprofessionnel du Vin de Champagne (CIVC), l'un des tous premiers comités vinicoles régionaux créés en France. Carole a rejoint le vignoble familial en 2005 alors qu'elle étudiait la viticulture. Elle est aujourd'hui responsable des vignes, des vins et de l'exportation.
