If you take a drive out the Pike Lake highway you will see a sign beckoning you into “Solar Gardens”.
Calling it a garden would be an understatement of immense proportion.
It is instead an oasis of color and succulent splendour, tucked into a cozy prairie forest location with an eclectic edge that captures your imagination.
Hosts Chris and Roger’s love of gardening has inspired them to create a truly unique garden paradise that serves as Saskatoon Opimian’s Summer Sunset party backdrop.
Taking to heart the expression “joie de vivre” that embodies Solar Gardens, we have planned a fun and fanciful late afternoon French garden party complete with fine Opimian French wines, scrumptious offerings from their Firestick Café and cool music by Saskatoon’s Standard Transmission.
It will be a perfect way to catch the fading rays of a summer sunset, spend some quality times with friends and sway along to music from the American Songbook, Bossa Nova, and Pop tunes from the 60s 70s and 80s
